The School of earlier centuries had a strong bond with religious belief and practice, and this bond is
effectively broken now. It also had a strong family-life behind it; families now are rarely able to do what
they once did for the development of children .

About two thousand years ago a famous Roman emperor said, “There was a time when one set of
parents was enough to raise ten children, now we need ten parents to raise one child”. This was 2000
years ago.

About 20 years ago the nuclear family was the model (nuclear family includes father mother and two
children). In this type of a family the parents did not have much to do with the education of their children;
the schools took care of the job for which the working parents had little time.

The American education system has played with many generations modifying the teaching techniques
according to the economic needs.

All things have changed, and with it, the mentality and living conditions of modern times, which means that
by trying to go back to the “good old days” in education, the traditionalist is wishing for something that can
not be .

This is what the Lord says, “Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears for your work will
be rewarded,” declares the Lord, “they [your children] will return from the land of the enemy so there is
hope for your future...” Jeremiah 31:16-17
